I had to go search on FB - that worked. The link didn't work, nor did searches for CARA or K3CAL...

I would like to get your thoughts on the idea of having a page to increase exposure of the Calvert Amateur Radio Association (CARA). I am aware that many of you do not use these networks and may feel they are not inportant or have little to no value to CARA. Just some info about Facebook. There are over 800 million Facebook users world wide. 2,860,100 of them live in Maryland. Over 30,000 of them live in Calvert County, thats 34% of the population! About 8000 "Like"(a way to link your page to others) the Calvert County Facebook page. What all this means is that there are many of thousands of people that use this tool and I think there is no downside to a little free advertising. I am able to create and maintain a page like this at no cost. It would be largely based and linked to the CARA website.
