Thanks for the links, they both are tried bookmarked; circuit lab works well
with my iPad; I have Chrome on my desktop but only used it to play Angry
Birds.

Ran across these two web sites I thought worth sharing.  The CircuitLab site
does circuit simulation without having to install any software on your
computer.  You can drag and drop parts, interconnect them and run a
simulation of the circuit to get output waveforms, voltages, etc.

The  <http://www.sparkfun.com/> http://www.sparkfun.com/ site has some
interesting kits and parts.
