[K3CAL] January Breakfast Meeting

All, mark on your calendars; January 21 2012 @ 0900 hours is the first CARA
& ARES breakfast meeting for 2012!

 

Sit back and enjoy good food and good friends for a relaxed way to start a
weekend.

Join us at the Dreamweaver Restaurant in Prince Frederick on the 21st for
the 1st of our monthly breakfast meetings that are really a social
gathering. These meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month. If
you have a favorite place for breakfast throw that name into the hat and may
try it also! 

 

Also don't forget the Monday CARA net on our repeater 146.985 Mhz pl tone
156.7 which takes place every week at 1900 hours. Last Monday we had 18
check-ins; including net control! Help John N3EDD break his last week record
of 18! With 41 members that's a pretty healthy net! Can we do better? Last
week we had a new Ham check in and our first EchoLink Check in to the net. 

That right if you have a smart phone I-phone or android you can set it up
for EchoLink communications and get on the k3cal repeater; you can even get
in without a radio and use your computer with a mike and the computer sound
card.
