[K3CAL] Doug Smith WA6GON - SK

With much surprise and saddest I report to all that Doug Smith WA6GON became
a SK on Tuesday, December 10.  

 

Doug was a member of CARA for many years.  You may have also known him from
working at Radio Shack Dunkirk for several years.  Doug lived in Needle
Estates.  He was an editor for GMRS magazine, Popular Wireless.  If one
Google's > "WA6GON" there are several hits showing Doug's devotion to many
aspects of radio.  

 

Doug very knowledgeable with ham, GMRS and scanner radios.  Doug will
certainly be missed.
