#yiv383120711 p {margin:0;}Hi, From Seguin Island Lighthouse,
We set up early and got on the air about 1700hrs and made three unofficia lcontacts, all on 17 meters, and then the entire lighthouse and surrounding area experienced a blackout.  Coast Guard was notified.  Then a big T-storm came at us and we just gotourelectricity back up but there is so much lightning about we cannot get back on the air, so W1S will be back on tomorrow, Saturday, morning.  Hope to catch some of you then.

Hi, Bill and Wayne, and everyone.  Glad to see you are all up for the LIght House event.  Two friends and I hope weather will allow us to set up W1S (special event call sign) on Seguin Island about 3 miles off the coast of Maine.  We are putting our gear in an outboard motorboat on Friday and will set up Friday afternoon actually running a dipole off the light house itself to a pole some 90 feet away.  We have been provided a room at the base of the light house tower (180 ft above the water) with electricity and lighting.  We will work with a Kenwood TS2000.  Hope to contact you on the air.  We will be able to spend the night in the light house (it has two guest rooms).  Our ground rod will be the lightning rod running off the lighthouse tower, hope we are not having the t storms which are predicted for Saturday.

Look forward to hearing, you,
