[K3CAL] dual band mobile antenna question

I have to agree with the "Big Dogs" and say that a single antenna would be
better.  Either Diamond or Comet.  Take a look at the one I have at the
meeting tonight it is actually a hybrid of Diamond and Comet,

I am considering purchasing a new 

dual band 2m/440 mobile radio with crossband repeat

and I am wondering about the antenna (s).

 

Which would be better?

 

A single dual band antenna

 

or two antennas one 2 meter and one 440 

with a duplexer
