Gentlemen (and you to Dave),
 
I now have a 20m dipole strung up about 10'. I got 1.5:1 on it without the
tuner & with it it dropped to near zero. It's orientated about E - W so it's
broadside to N - S. Now all I need to do is see if anyone can hear me on it.
