[K3CAL] Net results for December 19

A miscalculated number of check-ins to reach 400 for the year.  We needed 17
check-ins not 13 to have 400 check-ins for the year. Hence, we

are currently at 399 check-ins for the year.  

Check-ins tonight = 16

Tonight we discussed; 

.        Next CARA General Meeting is Thursday, January 5, at 1930 in PF

.        Next Breakfast will be 0900 on Saturday, January 21,  at
Dreamweaver's in PF.  Everyone welcome including wives, girl-friends and
etc. 

.        We hear that Eddie/KB3WLG is doing better. 

.        Hospital Net on 3820 at 1930-Hours on Wednesday, December 21.

.        Letter sent to Calvert EM and Director of Public Safety regarding
interference, request for meeting in January and new controller 

be installed week of December 25

.        Hams and non-hams welcome to CARA Meetings

.        New ham, Jack/KB3WUN from Hughesville

.        Charlie/AB3LE located in Solomons Island

.        Frank/KB3RAl located in Hooper's Island

.        Club website hopefully will be up & running before New Year's

.        Echo Link should be operational early January

.        MOU between DPPOA & CALV ARES should be finalized by end of year

.        Wayne/N1WR finished 2nd in Maryland with 247,170 score in CQ WW DX
160 Meter Contest 2011

.        John/N3EDD will be having Cataract surgery 12/28.  (Two really bad
bad jokes > Cataract is a Japan Luxury Car & Rincoln) 

.        B&O Museum in Baltimore has display of how trains played a role
during the Civil War.

.        Everyone wished everyone a Merry Christmas

.        There will be a Net on Monday, December 26 at 1900-Hours
