[K3CAL] CARA/ARES NET Results through 12/12/11

How about the Net tonight > 17 Check-ins!  That's a record for the number of
check-ins.  Hams from Wicomico County, Hooper's Island,

Lusby, Drum Point, Prince Frederick, Huntingtown, Dunkirk, Owings,
Chesapeake Beach and North Beach checked into tonight's Net.  

 

Hope you're not sitting at home watching the dumb boob-tube when you can be
talking with your friends over your favorite hobby.

 

We heard about CARA Christmas Party, the progress being made to fix
interference to the repeater, a new ham 

In the county (KE6YCO/Shawn), the mass mailing of CARA Membership forms, the
first American Legion Net this Thursday at 2100-Hours on 7230,

our next CARA Breakfast on Saturday, 12/17,  at Dreamweaver's at 9AM, next
CARA/ARES General Meeting on 1/5/12 at County Service Plaza,

starting at 7:30 PM, and an update on Eddie/KB3WLG whom out thoughts and
prayers are with for his recovery and wellbeing.

 

Join us next Monday - we like to secure having more than 400 check-ins to
the Net for the year.
