Hello:
After searching around, I found my full JST-245 Service manual. The
operational manual didn't have the major schematics in it, however it
did have block diagrams with interconnections and some detailed
schematics.
The operational manual did not have the power supply schematics, however
the maintenance manual does have the complete power supply schematics
indicating all the components, test points, etc.
This power supply would be very difficult to troubleshoot without this
manual. Some of the parts called out in the parts list are available
from various sources such as NTE, Mouser, Jameco, etc. Other parts
might be a procurement challenge, but looking at the circuits, a pro
technician might get it going. I just finished with an IFR 1200S, and
similar situation - the service manual is a must, and without a card
extender, one has to use a shot gun approach to repair and troubleshoot!
Ciao, Tony, K3WX
