[JRC] RE: JRC 515 filter

Hi Damien,

My JRC NRD-345 has an auxiliary filter position were you can fit any filter
type without removing the 2 fitted filters, it involves a pluggable daughter
board fitted with the filter of your choice, all the filters are
independantly switched whatever mode the 345 is in. If the 515 is the same
you have cracked it. See the previous mail were I got my filter boards &
filters, I also got a full manual from same supplier.

Regards,

Gary.

Thinking about replacing the CW filters in my 515 with at least a slightly
wider one for AM. Interests are AM broadcast and utes, but would not want
to lose narrow CW for resale.

Interested in recommendations including the Sherwood ones and circuit
mods/tweaks.

Damien

Greetings from South Africa.
The main tuning rotary encoder PG1,in my JST 245 has failed.
It seems JRC are not the best source for such spares.
Manufactured by Nemicon Corp.Tokyo.
Part#313-010-13
MKE-500-2 500P/R

Any ideas of a source please?
