[JRC] AM Filter for NRD-525

Hi All:

Does anyone have experience with Kiwa aftermarket filters? I have an
NRD-525 that I just love for everything except AM reception on the ham
bands. I want to mate it with my 32V-2 transmitter so I can get rid of my
R-390A receiver, which takes up far too much real estate. The stock 4 kHz
filter is too narrow for pleasant AM listening, and the 12 kHz filter in the
AUX position is far too wide for the ham bands. I'm considering buying a 6
kHz or 8 kHz filter from Kiwa. Are Kiwa products any good? Other than
Kiwa, does anyone else offer filters for the NRD-525? I checked Sherwood
Engineering's site, but they don't list filters for JRC products.

Thanx,

Jim
