[JRC] frequency off set LSB - USB

I noticed today when switching from UBS to LSB, my frequency readout
(display) jumps 3 khz, when switching to CW or AM it jumps 1.5khz.  It has
never done that before.  It is not a great deal but you need to re-adjust to
the correct frequency if you chose e.g. to go to 28.500 than discover you
are in LSB switching to USB makes the display jump to 28.497.  Transmitting
and receiving frequency remain the same i.e. 28.497, no off set between
TX/RX.

Is this controlled by an user definition.  Manual does not give any clue.
