Hi all,

This is probably old news to all of you, but I thought someone might not
know it:

I am upgrading the remote control programs for the NRD535 and NRD545
and had the
manuals open. I noticed something in the NRD545 manual that I never
notice before.
It said that I can hear LSB USB RTTTy on VHF and UHF with the WB
converter installed. I wasn't aware
of this previously. The secret is to turn the receiver on with the
USB/LSB button depressed
or the RTTY button depressed.

This information was inclosed in a small box on the manual. I looked
above to another
box I had never noticed and it said that to receive signals below 100
kHz, turn the receiver
on with the ENT/KHz button depressed. Low and behold, that worked too.
So I tryed it
with the NRD535 and it works with it too. Maybe you know this already,
but I thought if you
didn't, you might be interested. The NRD 535 manual doesn't have this
information.

I recall years ago there were signals down below 100 kHz.
Maybe I will try it?

I hope this info is new for you.
