[JRC] RX-only filters on 245 ?

Hi guys,

    I was wondering if on the JST245 there is a way to insert an external 
(homemade) RX-only filter, something like ICOM radios have... I see there 
are RX antenna IN and OUT connectors in the back, but will this work as in 
icom radios? Or a major mod is needed?
Any of you has experimented with these things? It could be an useful 
feature in a M/M or M/S contest effort...
