Ronnie,

While you are searching for the holy grail power 
supply, consider building your own power supply 
and modulator. You can use the layout of the '500 
chassis or create your own design.

There are parts (mod iron, power iron, chokes, 
caps, tubes, etc) available all over. Dayton is 
coming up, Shelby later this year, and ads in 
QTH-SWAP. Your construction may not be the select 
specimen of museum curators, but you will have 
the satisfaction of operating one of the best 
transmitters that Johnson produced.
