[Johnson] Odd electrolytic value in Ranger

I was minding my own business in an antiques mall, and what did I see? Why,
a Viking Ranger for $50. I certainly could not leave it there, looking so
forlorn-and it followed me home.

It uses a 10mf @ 700V axial electrolytic in the HV supply. The manual says
that things are in the 500VDC range for CW and Phone-but rises to 600VDC in
Standby.

I found one option with Mouser, but they want $36 for a Vishay-nearly what I
paid for the rig. Having looked elsewhere, what I found was an MEIC brand
rated at 600WVDC, with a surge factor of 650VDC. It's a smaller package
than the Vishay.

Does the latter have enough latitude to run the HV rail? Or is there some
other alternative or cap that I might have missed that someone knows?

Any suggestions are appreciated!
