Ok xmit tests seem to be ok , only checked in TUNE mode as I think if I went 
into LINEAR with the covers off,
I would generate too much heat with not much air flow. I think that may be 
why the choke overheats, as the lower compartment
can get like an oven and its the stock fan down there with my double than 
normal plate volts.

So taking a chance alls well, and I fit the painted cover on for a look:

Not as bad as I thought. Kind of matches the knobs a little. Can see some of 
the silver paint in the holes because of the camera
angle...ought to have put another coat to cover them up but the can emptied 
on me.

Since this is a modded AB1 Thunderbolt with other upgrades, I figure try 
something other than the stock Burgundy
to set it out a little.
