Hi Pete,

That first link you posted for the history center worked for me. Those 
are nice images. I found a pair of Rangers, a one and a two on the other 
link. I have the first model with the keyer and it was from a kit, not 
the riveted factory assembled transmitter. It doesn't say Ranger I on 
the front panel. There was no Ranger II when it was made.

My Ranger was a gift from an "Elmer" in the early 80s and was built by 
him. I am acquiring more solid state gear these days and letting the old 
vacuum tube gear go to new homes. That Ranger will be part of my estate 
sale after my final QSO. I like it and I appreciate it's legacy.
