[Johnson] Ranger II Front Panel Repair Question

What I have done in the past is to laminate a thin piece of metal on the
back side of the hole with contact adhesive. Then use auto body putty to
fill the hole and sand it flush with the front side of the panel. After
priming and finishing the panel, it will no longer be seen. I am able to
paint and silkscreen your panel but I have become too busy at this point
to take on any more projects this fall. My work can be seen on my
