Ok, guys, here's what little is left (all Ranger/Ranger II and possibly
Valiant unless otherwise noted). If you want some of this stuff, please
1. Contact me via email first. *DO NOT* send Paypal funds without
contacting me first via *direct email to w5kp at hughes.net *(NOT via the
Johnson list, no need to clutter up people's inboxes). When you email me
I will verify availability. I will answer all queries as soon as
possible. Should several folks want the same item(s), earliest email
time stamp of the initial query to me wins. No auctions, bidding, or
"offers". Prices are what they are.
2. All the prices are *plus shipping*, which will be a flat rate *total
of $6.00* regardless of the number of items I ship, to anywhere in the
50 USA States. I'll ship with USPS tracking (six bucks is approximately
my cost to send a small box via USPS).
The list, such as it is:
*New (Replacement) rear cabinet screws:* I have 10 packs of these left
(10 screws per package = 8 + 2 spares) - these were sourced years ago
from a large fastener company, and are as close as they could get to the
original Johnson screws. They fit perfectly and look great. They are
slotted head 10-24 3/8" machine screws with self-tapping/self-starting
type threads for use in sheet metal work. They have the same low profile
head as EFJ's originals. $3 per pack of 10.
*Surface (chassis) mount plug-in octal 110VDC relays for PTT
conversions. Enclosed type with clear plastic housing and octal base.
*1 ea NOS NTE R02-11010-110, 110vdc coil, includes matching octal
surface mount socket. $8.00.
3 ea NOS Potter & Brumfield KAP11DG-110, similar to above, just
different branding, also with socket. $8.00 each.
2 extra NOS surface (chassis) mount octal sockets similar to the above.
All these sockets are the simple "screw down to the top surface of the
chassis" type, and each has 8 screw terminals around it for pin
connections. Makes for neat, easy install, no chassis hole punching or
other gyrations needed. I used several of these in the past during
refurbs and upgrades, and they work like a champ.
*Female "offset 2-pin" rear chassis mic connectors
*1 ea used, 1 NOS, $8.00 for the pair. Will not separate.
*Male "offset 2-pin" rear chassis mic connectors
*2 ea used, $5.00 for the pair, sold by the pair only.
2 ea NOS, $10.00 for the pair, sold by te pair only.
*Original Ranger meter glass with metal bezel ring
*1 ea, used, needs cleanup but in good shape with no chips or scratches,
etc. Of course you can have one made or even possibly make one yourself,
but originals are rather rare. $10.00.
General purpose Boatanchor thermal time delay relays. All are the octal
vacuum tube type, all are NOS 115 VAC, $3.00 each.
2 ea Jettron brand 3-minute delay
7 ea Amperite brand 115NO90 (90-second delay)
2 ea Amperite brand 115NO30 (30-second delay)
_NOTE:_
re the long cabinet screws and Chernobyl 18K resistors: Sorry, I
discovered I no longer have the long cabinet screws, they are in the
landfill. Ditto the bunch of compact ceramic 5W 18K Chernobyl VFO
resistors. :(
Sorry, that's it. I won't cause you tears by mentioning what I sent to
the landfill a few weeks ago, only that it was about 40-50 pounds worth
of Ranger, Ranger II, Valiant, and R-390A parts (sob). Payment via
PayPal only, please, to my email address, but ONLY AFTER VERIFICATION
FROM ME I STILL HAVE YOUR ITEMS AVAILABLE. If any list member has a
problem with any of these items once they are received, just let me know
and I'll issue a full refund via Paypal including your shipping cost.
Trying to help here, not screw you over.
73 to all, keep 'em glowing!
