[Johnson] paint color

Evan,

Evidently many variations.  I remember buying my 1st match box new in the late 60’s while in college (a real financial stretch at the time).  I should never have sold it, but we’ve all had that experience.  It was the same color as my Ranger.  I p/u this one a swap-fest recently, nice shape but the cabinet could use some paint.  I’d use the maroon but it wouldn’t match the brown gray two-tone on the front panel. Maybe pursuing  Lee’s Sherwin formula is the was to go.  Nice job on the Valiant Lee. 

The only relatives in Chicago are my XYL’s sister and step-mom on the near north side. Usually get down there a couple times a year, but it’s too crazy.
