I hope I understand your question correctly...
I don't think you should attempt to use a CFL/halogen bulb for this purpose.
The first thing the exciter signal will see is a bridge rectifier. You 
don't want to deal with the mess that will make with the RF spectrum.
The CFL/halogens are rated for light output, lumens not power consumed. 
They are NOT resistive.

Look for incandescent bulbs. You can string lower power bulbs in series 
if your in a pinch.
