[Johnson] Globe King Mod deck HV/LV trans T9?

Ronnie Hull's comment got me thinking so I dug deeper.... The HV rectifiers
were pulled and sockets disconnected so no insulators to get dirty, that
wasn't the problem.... So I pulled T9 from the rig and checked it out on
the bench and found it to be just fine. Looks like the chassis grommet
where the wires come thru the chassis had disintegrated so one of the HV
wires was arching to the chassis....

I replaced the old grommet with a new one and the old girl is back on the
air.... Thank you to all who commented...

Here are a couple of places to check out if you dont have any luck
finding a replacement.I had a Hallicrafters HT-30 in need of a
transformer rewound or new.I ended up having Heyboer build a new one for
me. Good luck.
