Whats so hard determining the difference between my name and the email
provider? Put the bottle down.
If all you check is audiophool sites then be prepared to pay more for old
style G ST glass tubes. A quick check shows the 5V4GA available for $9 NIB
from a dealer.
National uses the 5V4 in many sets and Ive always found plenty under $5 from
non greed driven sources. Plus I repair a lot of DX-100, Viking I and II,
and others using that tube.
BTW, that tube set was for a Viking II with a few mistakes but obviously you
didnt really have the rig or tested the tubes so $30 is a crap shoot....some
folks win at craps.

Thanks - Carl (or Jeremy) may be correct about the line up of tubes being
incorrect for the
DX100 (my mistake) and the buyer has seen the list. But thank you for
pointing that out
anyway. They have been sold nonetheless.
The 5V4 is also a very cheap tube as he has pointed out - one popular site
sells them for
$29.95 and another sells them for $19.95 so they are obviously desirable to
someone.
Some of the used ones on eBay are going for $12, $39 and $69.00 each. Two
Mullard ones
will set you back $119.00 plus shipping.
So mine is not bad in the mix with these other ham transmitter tubes for
$30.00 total.
