that appear to be aluminum plated with silver. Have not cut into one
but they are so light weight I think they must be aluminum. The more
expensive Amphenols are vastly better--the dies used result in a UHF
male barrel shape that fits and solders better to typical RG8 coax;
the jack lug is wider and accepts up to AWG 10 twisted and the jack
center tines really grip the PL259 center pin much better than
anything else I have ever used.
