[Johnson] T/R relay

Hi Bob et al:

I've used one of these for over 20 years and have forgotten to turn it off as well, although it goes off when station power is off.

The switches get extremely hot and this can't be good in spite of what Johnson says. I have always mounted mine approximately with the end that holds the UHF connectors facing the ceiling at a slight angle, pulling the heat away from the transformer and capacitor but allowing it to flow out of the air holes. There's air underneath as well. I'm hoping it helped.
