Pete, you are close.  It would actually be a thread comprised of 714
different ways to provide switching for 10 different transmitters.  The
suggestions would come from only 12 hams--and would apply to only 3
transmitters in the original list of 1o.  3 suggestions would be right on
target.  A third of those remaining would be impractical, another third
reiterations of what had already been posted--as if the respondent had not
seen the first one--and the final third totally off topic...

That's why I made the statement: "Not all Johnson transmitters have this
socket". Any way, John solved his problem so I see no need to beat the horse
any longer unless someone wants to start a thread on 101 ways to provide
antenna switching for 101 different transmitters.
