As I recall Dave, early Rangers did not have the differential keyer. Perhaps
yours is one of those. For example, I have two Navigators, but neither one
has it. As far as I know, despite the VFO circuitry being identical between
Navigators and Rangers, Navigators never had the differential keyer. If I
ever get around to getting them back to operational status, I have long
thought I might build one for them-if it can be done w/o violating my "Prime
Rule for Boatanchors: I don't make no new holes, and I do not remove
anything permanently."

Anyone have a junk Ranger?  I need the keyer assembly -- the little chassis
above the function switch.  I'm putting an old Ranger back together and for
some reason, a previous owner removed the one that was originally installed
on this transmitter.  If I can find one, I'll have to start from scratch
which might be lots of work.
