Yeah, Carl - you're right. It's just like those hot rod car guys today with 
their spoon-fed electric engine starters. Too lazy to get out and use a 
crank like a real man. Uh huh.

If all else fails Harry, grab yourself a Dow Key relay with the external 
reed contacts. Not exactly 'Johnson', but certainly period-correct. Then you 
can use the contacts to mute your receiver however you deem best.

Im not that old Todd !!

However I can still tune multiple carbs and even set points which Im sure 
are much beyond some of the young uns on here.  They think they want to use 
old gear but dont want to be bothered moving a fat or manicured finger out 
of the bowl of chips to flip a switch.
