Hi Dutch, I have 3 of them (Valiants) here with the same problems also. I think I have located with the help of others on this list some Russian doorknobs that are RF rated. I have gone thru many different kinds of caps with the same problem--extreme heating on some. The ones I have now came from a dealer called KWTUBES and I believe elecments13 on Ebay. They have RF rated doorknobs that you can place in it. The values don't have to be exact only close as there is a 20%  variance in orig also. The problem is with the circulating RF not with the voltage rating of the caps. Seems that the new stuff on the market just will not hold up to large amounts of RF. 
The best bet is to change em all as they are all flaky. The cap C41 on all 3 here was quite leaky even when 150VDC was placed across it.  It will take 3 weeks to get caps from the Ukraine but they will come. I am replacing mine now as I finally have a few hours.
Good Luck. I wish someone in states had good caps for a reasonable price but I couldn't find anyone. I bought a lot of different ones only to have em smoke on me.
