[Johnson] KW Matchbox on WARC bands?

Hi Charles,
I have 80 and 40 meter dipoles on a common center insulator and fed with
600 ohm open wire. I was not able to get a match on 30 meters, so I
shortened the 40 meter dipole by a few feet (don't remember the exact
length) and found that it would still tune across the 40 meter band and
I could get a 2.5:1 SWR match on 30 meters with the KW Matchbox band
switch in the 40 meter position. I will probably shorten the 40 meter
dipole a little more next time I have occasion to lower the antenna with
a goal of getting a better match on 30 meters.
I can get good matches on the 17 and 12 meter bands as well with this
dual dipole arrangement.
