[Johnson] Viking II on WARC bands?

Strange since my CDC version is continuous coverage as is every other one 
Ive seen.

I read that "rare" Canadian comment in ER and suspect its the author not 
understanding his subject. There is virtually no peer review there anyway so 
I didnt waste time commenting.
Johnson likely just sent the CDC to Canada with their own contract number 
which made it sound unique.

Mine is a 1964 model, the last year any V2 was made. Came from the GE 
Proving Grounds.

Hi Carl,

E.F. Johnson had THREE versions of the Viking II, i.e. the "Ham bands" V2, 
the CDC V2, & the rather rare "CC" ("Continuous Coverage") V2, which I'm 
lucky enough to have here, & which was used by the Royal Canadian Air Force 
as recently as 1962...
