Hi Brian,

Certainly the Viking II "CC" & the Civil Defence versions would pose no problem---as long as you had an oscillator / crystal to generate a signal on the band...

Check you V2 manual: I'm sure there's considerable overlap between the bands in the (possible) tuning of the WARC bands, but again, you'll need a crystal / VFO to generate the appropriate carrier.
