Hi Ed,

I'm going to put the banana jacks in mine but not going to change the
hole spacing. With some plastic/epoxy products we can fabricate an
insulated plug body built on the banana plugs. I recall trying the twin
lead plug on mine and it kinda-sorta worked but was not any more
reliable than the butchered crystal trick. Maybe those plugs were made
with poor QC.
