Note that in the original the modulator tubes are cathode biased; with the later units the negative supply for the bias is also used to provide grid bias to the 1614 tubes.

I have the original Ranger without the time sequence keying circuit and would like to modify it to add the keyer deck.  Any suggestions would be welcome but I can engineer and build it myself if I can only find a copy of the schematic of the *original* unmodified ranger so that I will know what I am starting with.  I do have the manual for the later Rangers that do have the keyer circuits.
