[Johnson] Pacemaker

I want to replace the carrier balance pots in my Pacemaker with two nice 
5 turn pots I found.  When I started to remove the old ones I found that 
the whole front panel needs to be removed in order to replace them.  Are 
there any unpleasant surprises involved in removing the panel?
