[Johnson] Courier Linear Amp

Several years ago I picked up a Courier linear and have finally decided to start using it paired with my Central Electronics 10b (10 watt) exciter. I am curious if this amp was really designed for AM or CW use only by the class B and class C switch positions. My intent is to use it for SSB mainly on 75 meters. I am wondering if anyone using this amp for SSB has any feedback on it's performance under SSB operating conditions?
