To add to David's suggestion, use the minimum strength locking
solution for the small screws of the Matchbox knobs. An example is
Permatex Low Strength Threadlocker Purple, which is intended to
secure hardware under 1/4-inch and offer serviceability. See:

For greater strength and larger hardware, there is Threadlocker Blue
and Threadlocker Red.
