[Johnson] Valiant Chirp suggestions

Hello Art,

Do you get chirp on all bands?

I found that mine was bad on 40m but the others were okay. 40m is a band we
use a lot for local comms in South Africa, so I adjusted the mechanical
linkage to use the 160m vfo coil for 40.
It's as clean as a whistle if you do that, there's still plenty of drive for
full power.
All this is in reference to the Ranger, but I think the Valiant is the same in
this regard.
Chirp isn't objectional, a tx that does that is still perfectly readable, but
I can understand you wanting to fix it.

73 and best regards
