I had the same problem, except I picked up a 500 RF unit without even the PS chassis. The iron was probably made by SNC in Oshkosh, but it was a weakness in those transmitters. I do have access to some power transformers, which are in ballpark for HV, ~ 1500-2000 VDC. Also, the modulation iron, you might look at something like a UTC VM5 or CVM5 if you can find one used but still good. Send me the dimensions that the HV transformer has to fit into, including the mounting feed spacings and hole spacings. I will check on the plate transformer.
