[Johnson] Loose meter glass

If you try to "pop off" the "plastic" cover you will destroy the meter.
 
The original Ranger meter is made of Bakelite and you can access the screws that hold it to the front panel from inside the radio.
There is an aluminum shield that is held in place by the meter terminal screws, remove them and the shield.
There are four nuts that hold the meter to the front panel.
 
With the meter removed from the front panel, remove the screws on the circumference of the meter case.  The meter movement will separate from the case and you will be able to glue the glass in place.
The meter movement is very delicate, be careful with it and make sure the zero center screw meshes properly with the adjustment.
 
If all the above is confusing to you, don't do it......
