[Johnson] Johnson Adventurer/122 VFO power question

I have an Adventurer, and at one time I had a 122 VFO driving it.  I had
solid-stated the power supply and replaced the meter (who knew back
then).  The 122 turned out to be a better VFO than the Heath VF-1;  was
more stable and keyed much better.  I (foolishly) gave it away - paired
with an HW-16 and converted to grid-block keying.  They made a great pair!


My solution to the power problem was to replace the power-supply bleeder
resistors with a voltage divider.  It worked well.  Sure wish I still
had that Johnson VFO!
