FOR SALE: Drake 2A Receiver with the Drake 100 kHz calibrator.

This good working Drake 2A receives AM, USB, LSB (SSB) 
and CW signals. It is set up for the 80-10m ham bands but 
could easily be crystaled up for  the shortwave bands as well. 
The unit can also be crystaled to  support any of WARC bands 
or expanded 10 meter coverage in 500 khz increments. 
This rig was affectionately known as 'The Poor Man's 
Collins' and/or 'Black Box'.  VERY similar to the Drake 2B.

Has many extra features, BFO, AGC, CAL, NB, etc.
The Drake 2A is an analog tube receiver covering:  3.5-4.1, 6.9-
7.5, 13.9-14.5, 20.9-21.5 and 28.5-29.1 MHz bands plus seven 
additional empty ranges. The bandwidth values are:  4.8, 2.4 kHz -
6dB. Features include:  ¼ inch Headphone Jack, S-Meter, RF 
Gain, AVC SLOW/FAST, Preselector, Mute Line, Sidetone Jack, 
Speaker Terminals, BFO, Dial Set, Diode/Product Detector, Dial 
Lamp, NL and Socket for optional Q-Multiplier. This radio requires 
a speaker. Has a power cord that is in excellent shape.
Measurements of the unit are 12" wide x 7" high x 9" deep.

Runs on 120 VAC 60 Hz 40 watts.
