[Johnson] Ranger Power Transformer Hot

I have a ranger 1 that its original power transformer went out in a smell of glory. I obtained a nice original replacement and did the transplant. I replaced all caps, and also the LV rectifier as it was shorted fil to cathode. When letting the thing idle the replacement transformer gets to 130 degrees F and will sit at that temp. I have a temp probe clamped to the transformer by the shell mounting bolt on the inside/inside corner. Is this normal to run at this temp? Other than the power transformer heat all else seems great and can find nothing out of the ordinary.
Thanks, Larry K9LWI
