Thanks Darrell; that's good info as well. These actually fit tightly in the
hole so no glue is really needed.

McMaster Carr sells plasitic dowl pins that fit perfectly without the need
for any glue. The lenght is perfect. They are white, although the it's a
different shade of white than the originals. That isn't a problem if you
change all of them. Less than $3.00 for a package of fifty.
