[Johnson] 866A solid state replacements and out of phase modulator tubes.

I have used RF parts solid state replacements for 866A'S for quite a few
years now with no problem at all. They may increase the over all voltage
some but I personally have found no issue with that. Regarding the Modulator
tubes and switching the plate caps, I have found that in some cases you can
increase your upward modulation by doing that which results in more PEP
output. It is more a case of the microphone element not being in phase with
the modulator tubes and you can also reverse the connections on the mic
element, which you would have to do if you have modulator tubes that have no
plate caps to switch.
