I too have a 6N2 Thunderbolt.  On my amplifier, the subject fuse holder is
in a "cluster" with three other fuse holders on the back of the chassis,
adjacent to the 220VAC input.

Re the number built.  I have seen the number published (I don't recall
where).  I believe that the number built was more like 285 than 224.

I've a Johnson Viking 6N2 Thunderbolt. The schematic shows a 1A fuse in the
center-tap of the HV secondary. Where this fuse is supposed to be there's a
ceramic stand-off holding the CT connections. Was it modified, or was this a
later addition?

It seems the Thunderbolt series had trouble with their HV transformers. I'm
curious as to what the failure mode was.

Mine has a little dingy and paint scrape on the cabinet, so any information
on a paint 'color code' will be appreciated as well.

I'm told that only about 224 of these 6N2's were built, so I'm wanting to
keep it fully original . . .
