I've a Johnson Viking 6N2 Thunderbolt. The schematic shows a 1A fuse in the
center-tap of the HV secondary. Where this fuse is supposed to be there's a
ceramic stand-off holding the CT connections. Was it modified, or was this a
later addition?
It seems the Thunderbolt series had trouble with their HV transformers. I'm
curious as to what the failure mode was.
Mine has a little dingy and paint scrape on the cabinet, so any information
on a paint 'color code' will be appreciated as well.
I'm told that only about 224 of these 6N2's were built, so I'm wanting to
keep it fully original . . .
