[Johnson] Ranger Factory Wired Question

I have two Viking Rangers. On both of them, the tube sockets are fastened to the chassis with rivets (?), as opposed to screws and nuts.

Does this mean that they were factory wired? Or did Johnson ship the kits with the tube sockets already riveted to the chassis? Or did kit builders have to install the rivets?

Just curious.
